A month after emergency surgery for a blocked bowel, Pat Sajak opened up about the terrifying experience. He suddenly suffered severe pain during a walk with his daughter and was rushed to the hospital. While heavily medicated, he briefly thought he was dying.
Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and doctors found no underlying cause. Sajak later joked, “It turns out that I was merely high.”
The frightening ordeal reminded him of the importance of family and life.
