I was six years old at a big family dinner—everyone packed around the table, food everywhere, stories flying. Our teacher had said, “Family dinners are for sharing,” so I took it seriously.
I stood up and announced:
“Grandma! Should I tell everyone what you and Grandpa do alone in their room?”
Total silence. Panic. Grown adults sweating.
Grandma whispered, “Sweetheart… what have you seen?”
I proudly yelled:
“SHE MAKES HIM FOLD THE LAUNDRY!”
The room exploded with laughter. Grandpa just sighed and said, “Well… she’s not wrong.”
To this day, whenever he brags about being “the man of the house,” someone asks,
“Do you fold towels by color or size?”
✨ And that’s how a family legend was born. ✨
