Former President Bill Clinton Hospitalized in Washington, D.C.
Former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized in Washington, D.C., on Monday for tests and observation after developing a fever, though his spokesperson emphasized that he is “fine” and in good spirits. He is expected to remain overnight at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital but is described as awake, alert, and planning to be home for Christmas. Clinton, 78, has a history of significant but well-managed health issues, including heart surgery in 2004 and an abdominal hernia repair in 2010. Despite these challenges, he has remained active in public life, recently traveling, campaigning, and promoting his new book, Citizen: My Life After the White House.
