After my husband passed away, I found a garage opener in his car—even though we never owned a garage. Curious, I pressed the button while driving through the neighborhood until a garage door opened.
Inside, I found boxes of coats, toys, blankets, and supplies for families in need, along with a notebook listing anonymous acts of kindness. On the last page, he wrote, “If anything happens to me, I hope someone continues this.”
That day, I inherited more than a garage—I inherited his legacy of giving.
